After reading Jade_Sixx’s comment, I thought I should mention that ReedsInCase reeds are guaranteed and if they aren’t quite to your liking, I will do everything in my power to get you a reed that you like! Just email me and let me know, and I’ll fix the problem! And thanks for the reviews from oboejane and Oboette! I’m glad you like your reeds!!
Intermediate--Plays Weekly--Used 2-5 reedmakers--Reedmaking: Buy and do not adjust
I ordered 2 oboe reeds and 1 EH reed from reedsincase. They arrived about a week after I ordered them. I was really excited when I opened them up, because they look just like the photos on the website! And I must say, they exceeded my expectations! The oboe reeds have such a round, beautiful sound! And they are easy to play! I would say they are about a medium hardness. The EH reed is bigger than I expected it to be (wider shape and longer), but it has a nice sound and is easy to play! I’ll be ordering again!
Advanced--Plays Most days--Used 2-5 reedmakers--Reedmaking: Buy but adjust
I ordered a reed from here. It is really tall compared to the reeds I normally purchase. It has a nice sound overall, but it is a tad sharp, and is REALLY hard. I am going to have my teacher look at it soon and adjust it. I love the reed case that I ordered though, and the customer service was top-notch
Professional--Plays Most days--Used 6-10 reedmakers--Reedmaking: Professional reedmaker
All of my students use reeds from Ryan at Reeds In Case. They are in tune and stable, without being too resistant, and have a very lovely dark sound. After trying a variety of reeds from other suppliers, these have proved to be the best functioning and most consistent reeds I have encountered!

geekygeek April 28, 2012: Jones Double Reed Products Joboe, you’re doing so many things wrong. First, you should never use a reed for more than a month, for 2 months? Wow. Reeds won’t crack on the sides unless you play them dry or squeeze them to get their openings larger. Never...
joboe April 14, 2012: Jones Double Reed Products Two Jones reeds (med-soft) came with my oboe. One was great and I played with it for about 1-2 months before it cracked on the sides. The other reed was too open – I could not get a good sound out of it at all, even after soaking it for...
