Very stable pitch and very consistent from one reed to the next. Good tone and the right amount of resistance (not too much ). Some of the best reeds I’ve tried among roughly 10 makers.
Drew’s reeds are very consistent, and very solidly in tune, which is a factor I have come to appreciate more and more. They are relatively easy-blowing, and respond well both on the highs and the lows of the instrument. A very competent reed that I enjoy playing.
I’ve been using Drew’s reeds for about two years. They are very consistent, and they last longer than the ones I used before. The sound is dark, but still clear. I would definitely recommend them.
