I love Mz. Needlemans reeds. They hard to get but very nice sound and last long time.
Katherine is no longer selling oboe reeds to the public at the present time.

Katherine Needleman makes the best reeds that I have ever played. I bought several so that I could try to copy her scrape. Really incredible.
FYI- Katherine Needleman can be reached at needlemanreeds@yahoo.com. As far as I’m aware, she doesn’t have a website.
The best semi-commercial reeds I have played. Warmer tone than most, and excellent response and intonation. Ms Needleman’s reeds have lasted well for me and I really have nothing negative to say about them. Reeds can be hard to come by as she only sells what she has available.
